no skate,no movies,no bike,just shopping

That day was boring day. Since woke up in the morning, I just thought about my plans today. Plans about skateboard at afternoon and watch movies at night. Skateboard kit checked, but I had a problem with the bearrings. So, I cancelled the plan for go skateboard. After that, time clean the boardinghouse and took a bath. Before did it all, I sent SMS to my friends, I invited them to road a bike around the city. The boardinghouse and my body were clean, Yeah!!! Then I called my friends to confirm about watching movies, they gave me positive replies that means the program will be held.

About 5 P.M., my bike friends called me, they said "I can't go, I have an urgent program, I forgot to tell you about it, blablablablabla"... I'm very disappointed heard that. Just go just go, I thought, I have one more program today, watch movies. Same like my friends before, my friends who wanna watch movies with me said the same. Damn!!! I'm so angry that afternoon. Sick with it, so stressed.

I have an idea to kick my stress. It's very efective to forget about something that makes me stress. No skate,no movies,no bike, just shopping. I bought something for my monthly need. Special for this, I bought more snack hohoho. Coke, wafer, breads, cookies, noodles, etc. Shop till you fresh, don't shop till you drop.

Movies Time (2nd)

Time to refresh the hectic brain with movies. After success watched movies at night before, my friends and I did it again. Same projector which prepared by Yosi, notebook and movies by Baskoro, white canvas by Johan, place and sound system by Anggi (new comer, hohoho), food and beverage by Alex, and spirit by me, LoL!!!




Before watched the movies, we ate together. Alex bring a lot of delicious food from his home. The foods are suitable with our tounge haha. That night was a horror night!!! Bas was playing a lot of horror movies start from 9 P.M. until 2 A.M. Scream together, laugh out loud together. It's so silly, we watched together but we're still scared.


The movies finished at 2 A.M.. Our stomach which full of food and soft drink became empty because of the horror movies, then we bought some foods in McD. So yummy and also made our stomach looks tubby hahaha. Horror night closed with hamburger, french fries, and coke...grookkkk I'm so tubby.

Red Omar

It's my second nike shoes after nike SB Takashi Hosokawa. This red shoes is pro model of Omar Salazar, he's rider of nike. I call him "full speed skater". He ride his skateboard very fast, simple trick felt like big trick because of the full speed hohoho.




The material of this shoes is dominated from suede, I likes that material, that's skatable. It's mid, not high or low. The design is unique, the emphasis and sequence are explicit. I can release the foam from that shoes, very exciting. Over all, this nike sb pro model Omar Salazar is comfortable for daily use and skatable.

Purple Think

It's my skateboard kit now. I bought the new purple think deck last end year. Before use think as my skate deck, I used alien workshop and baker deck. Venture is suitable with me. I use it since 2009. It's light, but strong for grind or drop in. I disappointed with phantom truck. I spent my boardinghouse money to buy that, but it broke in the 1st year I used that truck. I'm using hello wheels and various kinds of bearrings hohoho, plus grind king nuts. That's my complete skateboard that I use for now.

Action!! Cut!!

Long time not playing in the first place where my skateboard community ride and had fun. My community named Gedung pusat skateboarding. It created about 90's, that's year when I was a young boy, but when I was a child, my father bought me mini long board. Since 2007, I began to study in Jogja where far from my hometown, and since that year I started to play this X-treme sport again. Peoples who play in GP is from various place, background, culture, religion, campus, and interest. That's why, we created a skate videos tittled "Melting Pot".


In this early year, one of my friend in GP, Zoul. He want to make a documentary video about skateboard life. He's studying about broadcasting in Art Institute of Indonesia. So, he invited all GP crews and others skater outside GP crew to join in his program. His program is final exam in his campus. Located in Gadjah Mada University, peoples played skateboard and had fun. Started in the morning, and finished in the afternoon. The video record finished because the rain came in that afternoon.



In this event, I enjoyed skateboard. Not just that, I became additional photographer that document the atmosphere in there. Fifty-fifty, back flip, smith grind, nose grind, they did those trick. I tried the big spin trick, that's my favourite trick. When I tried to do that, one of my bearrings broken. That was suck, just in time, I went to machine shop and bought a bearring. I tried again and I got the big spin. No pain, no gain. I was record the atmosphere, check this out

I want to ride my bicycle

Biking is my sport beside fishing and skateboarding. In this early year, bike lifestyle grow faster in Jogja. A lot of people use bike to go to wokr place and other purpose. Now, bike it's not just a tool for sport, but for real transportation. It's practical, no need gasoline, economical, and absolutely make our body keep healthy. In the evening untill night, in Jogja, we can see peoples ride on their bike around Jogja. The various of bike which they ride is much. Start from mountain bike a.k.a MTB, old bike, fixed gear, tandem, custom and hand made bike.

That phenomenon made me want to buy a new bike, because all this time, I was ride using my friend's bike (Cenoel). Sometime I feel not free when use it. Maybe because I can't modify it and I must ride it more careful because it's not mine. I was search for new bike with Ari Momo and Bebe in some place near Ari's house. I got some candidates. For now, I can't buy this, because I don't know where I'll stay and live after graduate from my university. My hometown is not Jogja, and maybe I'll work in other city. If I buy it and I move to other city, it's difficult for me to bring the bike. Cenoel have no problem with that, she happy to lend her bike to me. So, let's ride!!!

Kopi Joss

You must try to eat in Angkringan when you go to Jogja. Angkringan is concept of traditional food sales in Jogja. The foods in it is traditional, too. Traditional but it's keep clean. A famous spot in Jogja where adopt Angkringan as concept is angkringan near Jogja's rail station. It located near Malioboro where the most favourite spot for tourists when go to Jogja. When my friends and I want to talk something in public spot where a lot of people, we go to this place. Peoples called this spot Kopi Joss. Kopi is coffee, Joss is delicious. This angkringan has unique beverage, yeah, that's kopi joss. The coffee has floating charcoal above the glass. Talk till midnight, laugh out loud, nice night activity.

Sekaten 2011

In the morning, after woke up from my dreams, I turned on my PC and checked my twitter. My friend, Thea, she tweet about want to go to Sekaten. I didn't know the spesific about Sekaten, in my brain, if I hear about Sekaten, I just think about sacred traditional ceremoniY that hold every year. I shocked when I knew that this event held about 1 month. Before I retweet Thea's tweet, I was searcH about Sekaten. Finally, I know. Right!!! Sekaten is a ceremony to celebrate Islamic new year. It about javanese culture and Islamic tradition. The main ceremony's celebrated in the last day of Sekaten. Some days before the top ceremonial, a lot of stand around Jogja's city field. Used clothes, food spots, kids playground, etc.

Thea wanted to hunt great used clothes in there. I never did this before. So, I joined with Thea. Not just both of us, we invited Bebe and Meta too. Yeah, finally, I bought more than Thea. Maybe because I never go there before. I found a lot of unique clothes there, but I must choose it carefully. We went to Sekaten about 2-3 hours. It was fun, in hot atmosphere, we was so enthusias.

Movies Time (1st)

Watch movies at night is my new activity with my homies in my trip community. It's our monthly activity beside spending holiday with vacation. Suddenly, my friend Yosi invited my other friends and I to watch movies. I said, "I have no money for now, we must spend more money to watch it in the cinema". Finally, my friends and I made our version of mini cinema. We prepared all stuff needed. We prepared it suddenly, started from about 4 P.M. and got ready in 7 P.M.

I prepared notebook, Bas prepared the movies, Jo prepared the white canvas, Alex and Yosi prepared the place. For the first, we watched the movies in Yosi's house, we weren't watch inside the room, but outside the room. Actually, the atmosphere when we did it is rainy and so cold. It didn't really matter, the movies still played in the middle of rainy, because we use sound sytem from Yosi's PC for louder sound output. Here we go!!!

We watched local indie movie tittled cin(t)a that I borrowed from my friend Bebe. It's romantic, comedy, and religious movie. The story is about a couple with differences. The man named Cina and the woman named Annisa. Cina is a chinese people and a christendom, whereas Anisa is a indigene and a moslem. Annisa and Cina study in the same major and same campus. They fall in love, admire each other. By the time, appears an issue about church terror from moslem peoples, blablablabla. It's the main issue that make the story about Cina and Annisa being long and dramatic. Search and watch it to know about the full story, it's very recommended, especially for couples with a lot of different priciples, etc.

The peoples who's attended this event was Yosi and his girlfriend, Alex, Bas, Johan, me, and Leo. Leo? Yeah, that's Yosi's friend's dog. I don't know the species of that dog. It's a dog, why he named Leo? Leo is lion. Leo also watched the movies with us till midnight. We watched till midnight, and even till morning. We ate and drunk a lot of food and softdrink. What a nice time with homies.

Back to Village

In my sixth semester last year, I was living in the village with my friends from all majors. We was widespread in different place. The place where I was live named Klangon. Yeah, it's greater than other place in the village where my friends and I were live. Klangon is the most modern place in this village, maybe. It located near village market, border area between 2 cities, a lot of food spot here. The delicious yummy food that well known in some place near Klangon is Bakso or Meatball.

My friend, Theo, he invited me to go to the food spot where sell the meatball. He wasn't live in Klangon like me, but he know that delicious meatball. So, Theo, Bas, and me went there... Delicious food and good time. We arrived when the rain came. Hmmm yummy, when I look at that picture, I want to go there again... Coming soon, back to Klangon.
